Myths and Masks of God - Joseph Campbell - Ambient Lecture
Campbell's most well-known work is his book The Hero with a Thousand Faces (1949) (available here -  https://amzn.to/2orFf6P ), in which he discusses his theory of the journey of the archetypal hero shared by world mythologies, termed the monomyth. Since the publication of The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Campbell's theory has been applied by a wide variety of modern writers and artists. His philosophy has been summarized by his own often repeated phrase: "Follow your bliss." He gained recognition in Hollywood when George Lucas credited Campbell's work as influencing his Star Wars saga.

Recently, we've "rediscovered" my wife's Rh negative blood type. We had known about her blood type due to issues when the kids were born but actually never knew all the theories about the blood. It was just one of those things you never think about or never realized had any real significance except during pregnancy. Back in the late spring/early summer of 1986, before the influx of digital distractions permeated the minds of the youth, there was the grand notion for children to go outside and play. For me it was no different. I was around 11 or 12 years old and my family lived on a spacious acre and a half in what was then a somewhat rural Mequon, Wisconsin. The Rh negative factor in human blood is a topic that has gone widely underestimated. I know there are multitudes of people interested in the subject but it baffles me as to why Rh negative flies under the radar in relation to fringe conversation. To me this is one of the elephants in the room. While I am one those who has "monkey blood", my wife however is a shining example of those who have been either blessed or cursed with this blood anomaly. She remains my direct source of information about Rh negative, seeing how her attributes coincide with others of this group and in fact seems to be of an even more rare faction. Some things of prominence that I think are direct links include being left handed, brown/hazel eye color, and most significantly her empathic and sensitive psychic abilities.
